I have also collaborated with Dr. Caro and feel that his actions towards the Ophthalmologic profession have been nothing but extraordinary. For example, Dr. Caro has invented several instruments that refractive surgeons around the country use in performing LASIK which include: a newer and quieter microkeratome, the Caro stromal polisher/flap manipulator, the Caro Lasik cornea marker, the Caro Lasik flap elevator and the Caro Lasik smoother to treat flap irregularities following Lasik surgery. Dr. Caro also holds several medical patents and continues to research new ways to help patients improve the quality of their lives. Dean Kantis’s website life after lasik dot com has irrevocably placed Dean Kantis not as one of many dissatisfied LASIK patients who feel the need to voice out their negativity, but a familial predator. I, for one, would not trust any dissatisfied patient let alone Dean Kantis, who exhibits his “authority” on LASIK as if he actually held a medical degree. Adding further insight into this matter concerns Jennifer Kantis, wife of Dean Kantis has shown no resolve in controlling Dean Kantis’s obscure actions. I plan to file a complaint to the Dean of the Nursing/ Pharmacology department at Broward Community College.
