Dean Kantis has shown us much about his personality and aims throughout this past year. Most notably, Dean Andrew Kantis has illustrated his consistency in attracting the attention of federal agencies, specifically the FBI of Fort Lauderdale. This past April, as most of you have read and speculated upon, Dean Kantis and wife Jennifer Kantis were paid a visit by the FBI for suspicion of extortionist behavior.

Today, over 6 million people have undergone LASIK surgery and have had tremendous results. Individuals such as Dean Andrew Kantis that "supposedly" have had an unsatisfactory surgical experience are trying to undermine the successful results of LASIK. Even though Dean Kantis admits in his blog site that he was able to see perfectly without pain through the use of scleral contact lenses, Dean Kantis still persists in attacking the LASIK procedure.

Dean Kantis's erratic behavior on the internet has greatly attracted the attention of others..Recently, whilst perusing the internet, I came across a discussion group entitled "Dean Kantis Off His Meds" where unsurprisingly I read about Dean Kantis being on some sort of pyschological medication....I suppose all of his psychotic behavior online makes sense....My question through all of this is: Where has Jennifer Kantis been? Why has Jennifer Kantis condoned dillusional statements made by Dean Kantis being God-like such that he seems to be passing judgment upon Ophthalmologists nation-wide? Has he some intricate knowledge that physicians do not? I don't believe this to br true. Dean Andrew Kantis. and Wife Jennifer Kantis several weeks ago, received word from the FBI regarding thier flagrant extortion letter against the doctor, his family, and several other opththalmologists on the grounds that the LASIK procedure, which has witnessed over six million satisfied patients worldwide, is one that provokes inadequate results. Concerning his atrocious remarks against the doctor, he has illustrated to me that his aims are not that far off from someone who is completely deranged. Quite recently, Dean Kantis has recevied some interesting observations from a fellow named "Ragnar," who accurately in my opinion, justifies the reasoning behind Dean Andrew Kantis's behavior. Mr. "Ragnar" writes that "When you think about it... the average person has an IQ of 100 - which I consider to be dumb. But there is nothing wrong with being dumb as long as they mind their own business. There are also a LOT of mentally ill people around. Doctors should think about trying to screen out lunatics such as Kantis from having surgery. " As per my observations of Dean Kantis's website and blog entries, I completely agree with "Ragnar's" speculations on Dean Andrew Kantis. Dean Kantis is clearly an individual whose aims do not follow with that of his anti-LASIK advocacy. Dean Kantis, seems to be pathing the way for unfortunate misperceptions about an advanced eye surgery called Lasik. Dean Kantis completely ignores the benefits of such a surgery, and he comes dangerously close to libel and slander when trying to deconstruct Dr. Caro's career and reputation. Dean Kantis seems to be completely ignorant of the statistics on Lasik Surgery.

LOOK UP THE FACTS, DEAN KANTIS! Success rates of some improvement to correct eyesight to an average level are above 90%. What is the surgery worth to the patient, that is the question.

Dean Kantis: Why don't you have the evidence to continue your cases against surgeons? Why don't those that are close to you speak about your incessant rants and outrageous claims?

Dean Kantis, friends of the Caro family know the successes that Dr. Caro has had. Dean should probably look at the success rates, look at the responsibilities of the patients to fully disclose their medical history, and to consider the complications related to the patient's own factors. If you have had something happen to you involving your surgery, disclose it, if not, then actually file a suit and PROVE YOURSELF! You won't. You can't prove anything.

I have also collaborated with Dr. Caro and feel that his actions towards the Ophthalmologic profession have been nothing but extraordinary. For example, Dr. Caro has invented several instruments that refractive surgeons around the country use in performing LASIK which include: a newer and quieter microkeratome, the Caro stromal polisher/flap manipulator, the Caro Lasik cornea marker, the Caro Lasik flap elevator and the Caro Lasik smoother to treat flap irregularities following Lasik surgery. Dr. Caro also holds several medical patents and continues to research new ways to help patients improve the quality of their lives. I have watched an individual by the name of Dean Kantis and how he has targeted not only Dr. Caro but three other physicians in the state of Florida. Mr. Dean Kantis has also attacked Dr. Caro’s wife and children. My brother will continue working on his website to ensure that people like Dean Kantis are put in their place, as I will be working dilligently to show others that Dean Kantis is a maniac and cares for nothing but his own financial gain. The St. George Corrective Vision Center has treated more than 10,000 people who all agree that my father's compassion and good will is why they chose to have the LASIK procedure done and why they chose him as opposed to other ophthamologists in Chicago. My father has done nothing more than help those in need; to extend himself in whatever way to ensure that those he treats are well satisfied with their LASIK experience. Dean Kantis is trying to bring bad PR towards what the St. George Eye Center represents. Let me tell you, the St. George Eye Center represents the best in ophthamology and the best in care. Dean Kantis feels this not to be the case, and he is ENTIRELY wrong. I strongly implore you to see for yourself what a dillusional individual he is. It appears that Dean Kantis has transformed himself from being an individual displeased with his LASIK experience to a weekly scam artist. As I mentioned in my last post, he has created a Micro Jet based company, but other services publicized by Kantis (i.e. phone services, rental agent services, and this Micro Jet business) lead me to believe that he has created scams to misdirect others. Dean Kantis's latest scam, along with the microjet business is building households. I like the touch, Dean Kantis, of using the "State Farm Insurance" motto with being there for the customer. I am sorry: since when do you know anything about building homes? You surely have no clue as to what LASIK is all about, and now you want to establish a presence on the home market? Unbelievable is all I can say....Through his ridiculous webiste, www.lifeafterlasik.com, it is EXTREMELY evident that he wants nothing more than to mislead others into believing that his zest for life can be observed by his outwardness towards helping others. The truth of the matter here is that Dean Kantis is an incredibly scarred individual, one who is completely dillusional into thinking he can conduct business with others with the track record he has. Someone who is reliant upon his wife to feed himself and his children is absolutely pathetic. All Dean Kantis does day in and day out is sit at home and update his website to propogate further mistruths about his resolve and about LASIK. Recently, Dean Kantis has produced publications for anyone wishing to lease or attain a position at his newly created company, Micro Jet Positions (www.MicroJetPositions.com). He invites all potential customers to "see" how great it would be to invest in his company. However, all actions taken by Mr. Kantis, including his usage of alias names, his website which has truly become an attack against my family and not of the procedure LASIK, and his attack on carnation foods, have illustrated his disregard of ethics and professionalism. One of my dear friends at college named "Moody" whom has met my father and has seen the greatness of his work through me, was addressed in a post written by Dean Kantis himself (October 18, 2006). I was left in diguist after reading this.

First off, Dean Kantis is responding to his own blogs. Apparently, He suffers from many personalities.going along with his character flaws in using aliases. Apparently this has not been the first instance where Kantis has posted comments on his own blogs. Hundreds of other post on Kantis's blogs have been commented on by himself. It's as if he suffers from multiple personalities. Second, those wishing to understand what LASIK is about should consult a physician and not succumb to the words of a dillusional individual who spends his time on the internet. Additionally, Dean Kantis's new dillusion is selling micro jets. Recent research has prompted me to assume that the microjet industry is on track to boost the interests of the wealthy. Though the possibility of such convenience, with regards to air travel, would appeal to many, one would have to be completely insane to enlist the services of Dean Kantis and Micro Jet Positions. Finally, my family and I did absolutely nothing wrong to Mr. Kantis. He is the one who chose to come after my father and family for money. Dean Kantis should not be viewed as " a patient that has been ruined already struggling daily to live with deplorable, horrific, smeared vision", but a charlatan whose sole aim is to exploit others for monetary gain.

It has become increasingly apparent to me that Mr. Kantis thinks I am mentally challenged....What he fails to grasp is that I am finishing my undergraduate work and looking forward to law school. Someone who creates a 23 page blog has something to hide right SpeedyRocket or is it Johnny??? These two names are aliases of Dean Kantis. Why use an alias? Only criminals use such falsifications. I am a man; one more tenacious and understanding than you will ever be. Mr. Kantis's 7 years of suffering were not the result of my father's hands. How dare you insult my intelligence! Four other Doctors including Sing Pannu confirmed that my father's actions were done in the most medically professional manner. These Doctors are all medically licensed surgeons. Unfortunately, many individuals that suffer post-op complications blame their surgeon wrongly. Surgery is surgery...Complications can and do occur..Kantis has started harassing Carnation; then my father followed by Glenn Hagele, a patient advocate for LASIK; then Dr. Pannu; then three other Florida physicians. It appears that Mr. Kantis' motus apporande is to blame other people for his misunderstandings.

(CBS4) DENVER The widely held belief that contact lenses are safer than LASIK surgery is being challenged.

A new study looked at more than 30 years of research and concluded that surgery may be safer in the long run when it comes to vision.

According to CBS4's Dr. Dave Hnida, many people shy away from LASIK because they just don't like the idea of their eyeballs being cut on but the new findings say contacts may pose more of a problem.

Researchers compared having LASIK done with wearing contacts day in and day out. And it seems having the surgery may be safer for the eyes than artificially placing a foreign object on the eye to see more clearly.

Improvements in the surgery have made it easier and safer, but contacts now come in a wide range of shapes, sizes and products that weren't available just a few years ago.

The study said wearing contacts is not outwardly dangerous as long as the user washes their hands, cleans the contacts and wears them only for the time they're supposed to be worn.

LASIK just seems to be a little safer.

The study showed that 20 million Americans wear contacts and 1 million have had LASIK.

The chances of having vision loss from contacts is 1 in 2,000 and the chances of having vision loss from the surgery is about 1 in 10,000.

Well, it appears Dean Kantis has now targeted me and my family. He has moved from my father to my whole family though we had nothing to due with his surgery.
He has also targeted a florida doctor he consulted with for his post-op care, Dr. Pannu. Now he is targeting three more florida doctors claiming to have conspired tin hiding his lasik disaster. What disaster??? Dr. Pannu's last exam showed a visual acuity of 20/25 in both eyes. He also seems to see well enough to spend hours on his computer trying to hurt my father and my family.
Lets look at the lies or dilusions Mr. Dean Kantis has propagated:
1.He uses alias to spread rumors about my father. A criminal act.
2.He filed false statements with the BBB inIllinois.
3.He filed false statements with the IDPR in Illinois.
4.He filed false statements with the FDA.
5.He impersonated a federal agent.
6.He falsified a federal document.
In addition, he has attempted to extort money from my father eitherwise the havoc he has created on the internet would not be in existence. Furhermore, Dean Kantis mother Cassandra Earle tried to get on the money train by threatening my father that if he didn't pay Dean he would target my father.

Dean Kantis is nothing but a troubled man.

Tonight I joined my brother and father to watch WWE Raw and as I was watching the program, one of the interviewers was interviewing U.S. troops on the upcoming match for the WWE title. I started to think about an article I read earlier today on a website which talked about how much LASIK is benefitting our troops in combat. I cannot begin to elaborate on how much joy it brings me when I am with my family....This weekend, the family had headed up to Lake Geneva to relax a bit...Mom and Dimitri headed up on Friday night and Dad and I headed up on Saturday on the bikes. If there is something that I admire about my father, it is his undeniable intelligence..His accolades are undeniable...He has taught in China, Germany, Canada and various sites in the United States. Let me tell you about LASIK.... How many people have had LASIK in the U.S.? Over 6 million people!!! Let me share the experience of my LASIK procedure...of course I was scared at first..The procedure was painless and quick and the results of my procedure have shown themselves to be tremendous!!! I love the results and love what my father has done for me and the thousands of others that have been touched so positively by his hands. Welcome to this newly created blog site! For those that are unaware, I had the LASIK procedure performed on me in 2002 by my father Dr. Caro. Let me say that this was the best thing I could have done for myself. Dr. Caro's skill as a physician is among the finest of any other ophthamologist. Please help me in my quest to squash Dean Kantis, an irate individual whose sole purpose in badmouthing my father is to get money. He had the LASIK procedure performed by my father in 1999 and he is trying to receive some ridiculous recompense for something that my father did not do..Thank you all
