New Years 2007: What an interesting year, filled with great memories. The experiences I had up at school were simultaneously challenging and heartfelt. I learned an incredible amount about China and Japan and researched much on the two countries. What is my New Year's resolution?? To never give up on life, and furthermore, to never give up on my family. My family, as I have stated, have been attacked by Dean Kantis, a man whose resolve is nothing but to ruin both my father and family. What kind of a person does this?? Someone who cares about nothing but his own financial gain. Dean Kantis claims my brother and I are nothing but spoiled individuals living off of what Dean Kantis referred to as "blood-money". My father is a hard working man who cares for his children and for the welfare of all people he treats in his office. Dean Kantis is an individual who has his stories drasctically confused. His confusion, coupled with (quite) pathetic pranks such as phony telephone calls, posing as an FDA agent, and creating several internet-based illusions to blind all of you from the truth...Dean Kantis is a pyschologically deranged individual who is trying to ruin my father and family. I have asked you in the past, Dean Kantis" Don't you have a family? I hardly believe it to be the case. You spend countless hours on your computer and update that hoax of a website that you claim is advocating others not to have the LASIK procedure. Yet, my family is smeared all over your front page!!!! Explain that to me, Dean Kantis. By the way, Dean Kantis, don't bother sending me any more emails. For those who are curious, Dean Kantis on 12/29/06 sent me a message requesting me and my brother to get in contact with him. Dean Kantis, you really think I am stupid. You think I will give up?? You are DEAD wrong!! I love my family; a concept you have no regard for. Maybe your New Year's resolution should be not to destroy families and live your own life and spend time with your family.

The St. George Corrective Vision Center is an opthamologic institution that offers the best in care towards your visual well-being. Dean Kantis, through his website, and various other pathetically extreme ways, has tried to make my father and my family look bad. My father is one of the most compassionate and intelligent individuals I have ever known. Dean Kantis, as previously stated, has transformed himself into a relentless, loathing, and uncouth individual. My father has raised both my brother and I to be compassionate individuals, not animals. Dean Kantis believes that by coming after my family and I, he will win. Well, he is absolutely wrong. I will NEVER give up as long as I live. My brother will continue working on his website to ensure that people like Dean Kantis are put in their place, as I will be working dilligently to show others that Dean Kantis is a maniac and cares for nothing but his own financial gain. The St. George Corrective Vision Center has treated more than 10,000 people who all agree that my father's compassion and good will is why they chose to have the LASIK procedure done and why they chose him as opposed to other ophthamologists in Chicago. My father has done nothing more than help those in need; to extend himself in whatever way to ensure that those he treats are well satisfied with their LASIK experience. Dean Kantis is trying to bring bad PR towards what the St. George Eye Center represents. Let me tell you, the St. George Eye Center represents the best in ophthamology and the best in care. Dean Kantis feels this not to be the case, and he is ENTIRELY wrong. I strongly implore you to see for yourself what a dillusional individual he is. Just go to his slanderous website and see that he is mainly attacking my family and I rather that stick to his proposed agenda.

It appears that Dean Kantis has transformed himself from being an individual displeased with his LASIK experience to a weekly scam artist. As I mentioned in my last post, he has created a Micro Jet based company, but other services publicized by Kantis (i.e. phone services, rental agent services, and this Micro Jet business) lead me to believe that he has created scams to misdirect others. Dean Kantis's latest scam, along with the microjet business is building households. I like the touch, Dean Kantis, of using the "State Farm Insurance" motto with being there for the customer. I am sorry: since when do you know anything about building homes? You surely have no clue as to what LASIK is all about, and now you want to establish a presence on the home market? Unbelievable is all I can say....Through his ridiculous webiste, www.lifeafterlasik.com, it is EXTREMELY evident that he wants nothing more than to mislead others into believing that his zest for life can be observed by his outwardness towards helping others. The truth of the matter here is that Dean Kantis is an incredibly scarred individual, one who is completely dillusional into thinking he can conduct business with others with the track record he has. Someone who is reliant upon his wife to feed himself and his children is absolutely pathetic. All Dean Kantis does day in and day out is sit at home and update his website to propogate further mistruths about his resolve and about LASIK. Recently, Dean Kantis has produced publications for anyone wishing to lease or attain a position at his newly created company, Micro Jet Positions (www.MicroJetPositions.com). He invites all potential customers to "see" how great it would be to invest in his company. However, all actions taken by Mr. Kantis, including his usage of alias names, his website which has truly become an attack against my family and not of the procedure LASIK, and his attack on carnation foods, have illustrated his disregard of ethics and professionalism. One of my dear friends at college named "Moody" whom has met my father and has seen the greatness of his work through me, was addressed in a post written by Dean Kantis himself (October 18, 2006). I was left in diguist after reading this.

First off, Dean Kantis is responding to his own blogs. Apparently, He suffers from many personalities.going along with his character flaws in using aliases. Apparently this has not been the first instance where Kantis has posted comments on his own blogs. Hundreds of other post on Kantis's blogs have been commented on by himself. It's as if he suffers from multiple personalities. Second, those wishing to understand what LASIK is about should consult a physician and not succumb to the words of a dillusional individual who spends his time on the internet. Additionally, Dean Kantis's new dillusion is selling micro jets. Recent research has prompted me to assume that the microjet industry is on track to boost the interests of the wealthy. Though the possibility of such convenience, with regards to air travel, would appeal to many, one would have to be completely insane to enlist the services of Dean Kantis and Micro Jet Positions. Finally, my family and I did absolutely nothing wrong to Mr. Kantis. He is the one who chose to come after my father and family for money. Dean Kantis should not be viewed as " a patient that has been ruined already struggling daily to live with deplorable, horrific, smeared vision", but a charlatan whose sole aim is to exploit others for monetary gain.

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL!!!!

What is one thing I love about Christmas? Spending time with my family, especially my Dad. As a child, I remember him coming outside with me to make snow angels and snowmen. What do I want for Christmas? Absolutely nothing, because what I want I have right here: my family. What does Dean Kantis want for Christmas? To make an innocent man and his family suffer because he can't handle happiness...I see someone is going to receive coal in their stocking this Christmas....

It seems that Mr. Kantis just will not give up. Apparently, now Kantis has placed himself on " You Tube", a website where one can submit videos to place for public viewing purposes. Maybe I have explicated this situation much, but nevertheless I feel that Kantis ' website is not doing him enough justice. His so-called advocacy towards making the tragedies of LASIK known has gone too far. Anyone who would wish to exploit a family in the process is, in my mind, insane. How far will this unwarranted persecution go? I cannot say....
